That shorthanded goal from Duncan Keith to tie it at 3 after the Avs went ahead on the 5-on-3 was very nice. Versteeg made a great pass to get him the puck. And big shootout goal from Kopecky to keep it going into the 9th round.

Definitely was! Versteeg must have just known Keith would be there. I kind of wonder why Ladd didn't shoot before the likes of Byfuglien or, even Kopecky though he did score

Would have been cool to catch the team's longest shootout ever (I did catch the highlights on nhl dot com), but nothing could ever match what we did (with;for) dad yesterday

There will be more exciting Blackhawk hockey for you to watch this season. The team looks good. My only concern is Huet. He wasn't too bad last night.
