In light of the "imminent" signing of Bourn with another team, I thought this holiday tune deserved a bump - hey at the time we had no catcher so at least they addressed that.

OK, IMO this is NY we should have got a proven mlb outfielder - could have done so without breaking the bank. We have a vast outfield at our park. Once pitchers saw Kirk they ate him alive, and Duda can't play the field. But no need to rehash all this - I hope Kirk hits well, he can field.

I must admit, I am excited about the reconstituted Mets going into 2013, (a different way of throwing up?)

My pick for the outfield would be Mike Stanton, if we could get 'im. The problem now is that Miami would want too much, more than we can afford to give up. I'd like to see a Delgado like presence in the outfield, and with Ike, and Wright, Duda (if he can) and some pop from our catcher, we'd be set with the offense. I still think Tejada should bat 8th, where he has been consistent and very good.. a strength at the bottom half. (if the heart of the order gets on base, lets bat them in)
