Dont worry. Selig was raving about the sale 2 weeks ago, saying the calibur of Magic Johnson and Kasten are what the MLB needs...

After all the hoopla, if the MLB rejects the sale after the bankruptcy court already approved it..that would be a huge blow to MLB.

Right now attorneys for the MLB are fighting in court over a settlement THEY stupidly made with McCrourt! They hate the guy (understandably) and object to his involvment in any way.

But really they have no leg to stand on. They settled with McCourt that he could keep the parking lots. Them being upset they he still owns 50% after the sale...oh well.

MLB objected to the sale in court but because of the agreement reached by MLB and Frank, the court holds the final say. It's sad because that little weasel outsmarted MLB, the supposed juggernaut, and profited nearly a billion dollars. As much as I despise Frank, I must admit that he's one shrewd SOB.

And the court just approved the sale didn't they?

And yea, the judge in the case even expressed seeming admiration about how shrewd McCourt was

I suggest we vote frank in a U.S secretary of treasury, this country is trillions of dollars in debt.
Frank would make things worse, then with a little time, work his magic, and the country will have a surplus of trillions and frank will get rid of all the ugly women in the country in one swoop.

No kidding, the US gov't should really consider having Frank solve all their problems. If he can buy the Dodgers with none of his money and turn that into a billion dollars PLUS more from the parking lots, I don't see how he can't solve our debt problem.

Maybe to kill two birds with one stone, he can lipo the fat women and sell that to other countries for lantern fuel.
