He should have won MVP. I don't agree with Morgan. But that's what a lot of the old players think. Verlander was a no brainer. They simply don't win without him last year.

So at the time Morgan was spouting that drivel Ron Guidry had his lights out 25-3 / 1.74 ERA season. You see the Yankees replacing that production with just anybody?

They had many MVP's that year. Morgan wasn't alone. Who won it that year? I can't remember.
