Uggla's fWAR is already 2.4 compared to 2.5 for all of 2011. He's been a BB machine this year.

Totally agree, BigDaddy. Uggly is far from all-star material and once again, anyone with an opinion is called names. If Uggla was on another team and went to the AS game ahead of any Brave, he'd be slammed mercilessly.

Voting started a long time ago and he was actually having a nice season until he fell off a cliff. Also, although many of you will probably bombard me with names and saberstas, but I couln't name one other 2B in the NL.

Even after his bad June his still 3rd in OPS among NL second basemen.

I would say Hill deserves it, but Altuve made a case for himself. Either way, Dan did well the first 2 months.
