Nobody said they did, scoot. But if you think these "student-athletes" at the top-tier programs are getting it done the same way other students are, you are delusional.
Take UConn or Syracuse....your pick. What are the average SATs of the basketball players vs. the average SATs of the student body as a whole. Samo-samo? I don't THINK so.
Do you think most SU alumni are pleased that Melo is out? As a fan, are YOU? If it were Bucknell, *I* would be. Heck, we had a baseball team that won the conference and a baseball player that batted .494, and we refused to send the team to the NCAA's because it was during finals week.
