I bet he ends up as a Saint or Titan. I think there is very little likelihood he heads to SF.

Saint? I assume you meant Broncos not sure how the Saints would make since with them have Brees. I think the Niners are a long shot as well though, but the fact Alex has no deal does give me a little pause.

Drew Brees is very unhappy with his current contract.

LOL. The Niners defense and special teams will keep giving Manning the ball at the 40 yard line or better. Tough job.

Alex could have signed already if he were not greedy!
It was his choice to play hard ball instead of softball.

I agree..... As far as Alex Smith having his shot at revenge, that would be intriguing if he goes to the Seahawks, if Peyton Manning signs with the 49ers.

I agree. The 49ers are WAY too committed to Alex Smith, despite having Manning work out for them. If they sign Manning, it would make them look bad in some people's eyes, that they didn't bring Smith back. Plus, you keep hearing that Peyton Manning doesn't want to compete against his brother Eli Manning, if he went to an NFC team. At least the 49ers had him work out for them, so they at least showed some interest, which was good.

I wouldn't be surprised if Peyton Manning signs with the Titans. It's an AFC team, Peyton Manning would play the Colts twice a season, and he would be back in the state of Tennessee. I heard that he's still big down there. The Saints already have Brees, despite him being pissed about the Saints putting the franchise tag on him.

It will be interesting to see where Peyton Manning goes. I hope he becomes a 49er, but we'll see. The 49ers seriously are the best fit for Peyton Manning, if he wants to win right now.

Would it help them win football games? Because that's a pretty good to reverse that damage.

Boo hoo for Alex Smith. He's been paid what? $50 million+ so far as a Niner for very little in the way of accomplishments.

This is a big money business. The Niners let Joe Montana and Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens go. Saying goodbye to Alex Smith wouldn't be that hard.

I find it very strange that for some reason these players seem to get their precious little feelings hurt so easily. "It's just business" when a player goes to whatever team pays him the most money, but it's personal if the team checks out it's options?

Not buying it. These guys understand it's a business.

Man if I was the Dolphins and my choices were Flynn or Smith that is not much of a choice.
