I know it's about Lincecum but the same can be said for Wainwright. Reduced velocity, high BABIP, high HR/FB ratio, good K%, BB%, GB%, etc.

Almost every other pitcher (quality pitcher's that is) seems to come back from TJ surgery and performs at a high level. Except Waino. The question is, why is Waino not having the same success as other pitchers in his position?

He needs to be sent down to finish rehab instead of doing it with the games on the line imo.

if only the cardinals could dfa wainwright without any other team claiming him so adam could go down to the minors

We can not send wainwright down for rehab without putting him on the dl, and we cant do that if he is healthy,

maybe he should have started on a rehab assignment cuz he hasnt faced hitters in a long time, but he isnt injured, we cant go back and put him on rehab now unless we diagnose a new injury in which he would have to be on dl for 15 days before he could start a new rehab assignment

he is healthy, he cant be dl'd unless we discover a new injury or reoccurrence in his injury later

They should DL him then because from what I am seeing it will be more than 15 days before he can effectively pitch to the big bats.

Send him done, looks like that elbow is stiff. He needs to gain back his form in the minors, before being shelled in the majors, which is happening.
