sitting behind the plate...three rows from the roof. I believe Oquendo, Ozzie, and the pitcher were due up, so my wingman went to the bathroom, figuring this would be the most opportune time to do what he was waiting 2-3 innings to do. After Ozzie hit it, it took about 15 seconds for my friend to run out of the tunnel, see Ozzie get mobbed at the plate, and look up at me realizing what he missed...but not really caring because we won, and we were there!
The next game, watching at Cousin' Hugo's Bar & Grill in Maplewood, I talked him into going out to the car to listen to the end of the game instead of watching it inside with us...a superstitious thing. Jack Clark blasted the winning homer, my padnuh missed seeing another historic homer, and I didn't!
We won and he didn't mind too much anyway!

In a Mexican restaurant in Santa Ana, CA watching the game. Some Dodger fans wanted to whomp on me. And saw Jack Clark's HR in the next game at the same restaurant and the same guys wanting to whomp on me. The bartender told them to shut up, he was happy about it because he wasn't a Dodger fan.
