Me too, but I understand your point about the trades of Wandy and Myers, ect. Just hope this group can keep it together, would be nice to see them succeed a bit. Also see Sinclairs point of wanting the first pick if you're not going to make a run at the playoffs.
So...I basically said nothing in all that lol.
1. MIN 6 18 -2. KCR 7 16 1.53. SDP 9 17 2.0 4. CHC 9 15 3.05. LAA 10 15 3.56. MIA 10 14 4.06. PIT 10 14 4.06. SEA 11 15 4.09. HOU 11 14 4.59. MIL 11 14 4.511. BOS 11 13 5.012. CIN 11 12 5.512. PHI 12 13 5.514. OAK 13 13 6.014. CHW 12 12 6.014. DET 12 12 6.014. COL 12 12 6.0
I have read about a kid, Austin Wilson, he seems like a 1-1. Afraid I have exhausted my knowledge about next year's class after him.
Is there any can't miss types projected for next year? I think that once Myers and Wandy move on to greener pastures and the inevitable injuries/slumps, this team might finish near the bottom. If we don't get 1-1, then I think it is very possible to secure a top 5 pick.
"I wouldn't mind another #1 overall pick. Not that I would enjoy watching the Astros tank like last season, but I'd rather see them go 58-104 than 74-88 if they're missing the playoffs either way."
I am laughing out loud and rolling on the floor laughing at this oxymoronic post. Well, maybe not rolling on the floor...
"I just love all the so called fans who would rather the Astros lose 100+ games..."
You assume too much. Acknowledging the likelihood of another poor season or two is NOT a desire to see them do poorly. It is the difference between rational thought and irrational emotion.
There is a place for both. They are not mutually exclusive. Just think of it as rooting for the underdog. It is impossible unless BOTH are happening simultaneously.
