I just remember that one game he had with the Braves...lol. Oh well I have to root for him now. Overall I think its obvious that the bench is a weakness of the Brewers. I think that is fine. If something has to be the weakness, best to be the bench.

Melvin has had success with the role players over the last several years. This year as a group the bench looks weak to me.

Its pretty gutless for a manager to make a player hit someone else when he knows the pitcher will be thrown out and the manager might as well. This whole situation sounds so much worse though. Drilling him out of spite is bad enough. But after that he was like pounding his chest at him which is when Tulo charged the mound and after everything calmed down and Tulo was on 1st, Jiminez was still making faces at him and trying to pis>s him off. The rockies had someone stand in front of Tulo so he couldn't see it til the inning was over. There's an article on mlb.com about it and just ugh, disgusting.

Basically, tulo jimenez and Carlos gonzalez all had career years in 2010. Jimenez had already signed an extension the year before so he they obviously didn't re-sign him again and they offered big deals to tulo and gonzalez. That made jiminez mad enough to want to be traded all year til he finally was in july. It seems like Jimenez was just mad that he didn't wait for a bigger deal. When he left there was definitely bad blood and I don't blame them. It would s..uck to spend most of the season with someone who doesn't want to be there.

In an interview last week, Roenicke hinted he was glad LaRussa was out of the division. He said something "interesting" always seemed to happen when playing his team.

It's interesting too that Tulo and Braun are friends. I read some Braun story on cbssports.com I think where they were talking about how they were gonna go have dinner this week and all these shenanigans happen. If I was a Rockies fan and Tulo actually gets hurt because of this I would just be dumbfounded at the stupid.

The 2005 draft was a gold mine, Braun's an elite offensive player and Tulo is an elite defensive. Almost every player from the top ten is a cornerstone now for their team. Except the Mariners.

Those miserable <bastards in Seattle had their pick of Ryan Zimmerman, Braun, Tulo, Ricky Romero, Andrew McCutchen, and Jay Bruce. Just missed Juston Upton and Alex Gordon.

All of them All-Stars. They got stuck with retread Jeff Clement.

The new commercials are pretty lame. I like the Rodgers one, and the Aoki and Gamel one is ok. The Marcum one they basically did the same thing last year, just now with Gallardo instead of Saito. The Ramirez one was pretty lame.

I think its pretty cool they got Rodgers in a commercial that isn't selling insurance.

There's an article on the main page about Braun. Apparently first day of spring training he broke three windshields during batting practice. One while the guy was sitting in the front seat.

I thought the Aoki and Gamel one was funny, Rodgers one was kinda good too. But yeah, not a great crop, although I think they're better than last year.
