Oscar Tavaras hit another HR then was taken out of the game after a colision with him and the 2nd baseman but they both appear to be fine and it was a precaution.

Wong had 2 more hits but came up lame running to 2nd base on a steal, may be day to day ?

Zack Cox still not hitting.

Matt Adams hit another HR tonight.

Some young prospects that I'm looking forward to following that are in lower levels: Charlie Tilson, C.J McElroy, Kenny Peoples, Nick Martini, Tyler Rhamatulla, Lance Jeffries.

The Cardinals system has interesting prospects at all levels really. Fun time to be a cards fan.

"In what, 6 games?"

It's now 33 games and Cox is batting .196 while Jackson is batting .294. How big a sample size do you need?

"Because you use small sample sizes. "

Sample size now up to 33 games, Cox batting .196 compared to Jacksons .294. How many games make a sample size big enough?

That's fine, but not every player who hits .150 for 6 games will continue to struggle the rest of the year.

Oscar Tavares has to be one of the elite prospects in baseball by now.

Cox hit a couple doubles yesterday.

Oscar tavaras is getting a lot of attention, if he keeps it up don't be suprised to see him around the top 20 prospect list.

The last 2 games the Memphis team has had a lot of hits. Are they starting to gel or just hit some bad pitching? Yesterday Adams went 4 for 5 with 2 homers, Jackson 2 for 4 plus a walk, Cox 2 for 5, both doubles. Team total of 15 hits.

I told you last year that I thought that Adams was a guy you'd like to follow, plus Lefty didn't like him (he may have changed his mind from last year).

Sorry if I missunderstood your comment. Do you like him now? I had him down last year as a good hitter and he should be able to improve his defense enought to play 1st base. He did say in an interview that he was working hard on improving his defense. Jackson said last year that he was working hard on improving his hitting.

We should know in a couple months if they both succeed. So far so good.

I was suprised to read that Adams was a year younger last year most AA players.
