"Lets see how ticket sales go cause Florida has never drawn well."

The 2012 sales are going very well in their new stadium. ( with a retractable roof )
Where do you think the money is coming from that they are investing in their team?

The Miami Heat have problems selling out. After the novelty of the new stadium wears off, the Marlins will be back to playing in front of their usual 7,000 a night crowd

The miami dolphins don't have an attendance problem.

If the marlins have a decent team on the field in their new stadium, they will draw much better crowds then they have in the past.

Well that is true there is sooooo much to do in Miami and by being in Little cuba it could very well make going to the park even less attractive to a certian population, Now will there be enough of an interest in the fish to not only sell out but also sell the high ticked corporate boxes.

Football season is not 81 home games over 6 months spanning spring summer and fall.

They can sell out 8 games but 81 is another story.

But, my point is that the Heat have 3 "superstars" and still were having issues with selling tickets.

Regarding the Dolphins, I could have sworn that there were a lot of empty seats this year

ozzie will get second licks after zambrano. i think zambrano is going to resurrect his career, i think hanley will play well or get a beating from zanbrano/ozzie, i think they finish 2nd or 3rd and have a WS shot, especially if jose stays healthy and plays like he did last yr. he is a good guy and i hope he plays well. a few yrs ago i was thinking how cool it would be to have wright and reyes both get 3000 hits as mets. now, i expect wright to be traded. so it goes.

It will be less atttractive to some. I don't think it will be any less attractive for some than getting to the old stadium was. For the number who may not go, they will more than make up for that where the stadium is. I think they will do well with the corporate boxes. The buyers may not be a legitimate corporation, but money is money and who cares where it comes from. I think they will do well. They put the stadium in the right place.

And the Dolphins play 8 home games, Not 81 so they have to sell what 400,000 tickets not 3,200,000 tickets

Your point is taken. Florida fans don't set any attendance records evn the rays that have been playoff team have empty seats. My point however is that with the new stadium, their will be a large spike in attendance.

It won't be long before we find out. I do think they will draw better than they did in the old stadium. That wouldn't be hard to do though.
