It's getting a lot of attention because of the racial angle, the perception that the police covered up for him, and because the facts of the case are murky and contradictory. It is too bad that it is becoming a racial issue. This country does not need it. It is too bad Al Soundbite is on the case. It is too bad it happened.

I'm not even sure what the nation is supposed to learn that is new here in this Zimmerman- Martin circus. That there are a few people somewhere in the country that that might have racial profiling in their minds, ie as this Hispanic - American had with this African- American kid ? Or that somewhere in the country there are Government authorities that are incompetent ? I just don't see how this is a revelation to anyone. I think it's pretty obvious that some people see others as part of some group, instead of as a unique individual, and that some people that work in Government make mistakes from time to time ( don't we all ?) or may actually be totally incompetent or harbor biases toward members of some group(s). The fact that some tv stations ( MSNBC)have prettty much devoted 90% of their evening programing to this one death in Florida, seems way over the top, particularly given the fact that there are so many other important news that is crowded out and not covered at all, that effects the Country much more that this kid's unfortunate death...... as yes, I agree with you that MSNBC's Al Sharpton and other race baiters ( Spike Lee, Blank Panthers, etc ) are doing harm to the recent positive steps that the races have made with one another. Its a shame.

Santorum would be a vastly better candidate if he had made the wise decision not to seek re-election to the Senate. The fact that was voted out of office by a staggering margin casts serious doubts on whether he would do a decent job as President.

No, his moronic views on sex and other social issues make him a caricature and utterly unsuitable to lead a mule train let alone a country.

Indeed, Sanctimonius stands to lose his homestate yet again shortly with the upcoming Penn primary....a fitting farewell to a religious zealot with dangerous ideas about the constitution...sexuality, race, gender and a panoply of other psychosis...

most revealing that Mitt is such a poor candidate that he has struggled this long to shake off the circus clown car full of nitwits that challenged him in the Greedy One Percent Party primaries ...

a new bumper sticker says it all "Meh. Romney" LOL

He and the repubs will receive a political shellacking of biblical proportions come November....problem is that this will not compel the repubs to tack away from the uberrightwing cliff as the zealots will exclaim that the reason their party was thrashed is that they nominated a Mass. Moderate instead of a true kool aid (tea) chuggin rightwing lunatic....only when they do so and receive the "Goldwater " treatment will the voice of sanity and moderation again be heard in this public embarrassment of a political party...even Ike's daughter has left the GOP....!!!!!

I wouldn't be so sure about that shellacking there OD, With Obama stepping on his own thing every other day and Bozo Biden pitching in whenever they allow him out in public, nothing is certain anymore. Americans, even most liberals, don't like it when there CinC is playing footsie with a dictator, playing his own race-baiting games and 4 frickin years later is still blaming Bush. When is your man gonna man-up OD?

GM is alive and Bin Laden is dead.

The economy has now registered 24 consecutive months of private sector job growth.
Applications for unemployment benefits are down by over 5,000 this past month.

There are no G.I.'s in combat in Iraq.

I could go on and on since I have command of the facts on the ground ...but you get the idea....or maybe you dont want to let the facts get in the way of a good soundbite?

Oh and BTW: unlike his predecessor Obama actually HAS kept us safe for his entire tenure to date...

when do you think we'll see "W" making that highly valued endorsement of reversible Mittens? LOL Have you noticed that "W" is" He who shall not be named" by any of the clowns in the Greedy One Percent Party Primaries? Why you'd think that their St. Ronnie was the last republican president -I wonder why? LOL Hint: They dont often harken back to Hoover either....

oh and you can ask Bin Laden, Alawaki, Al Queda and Khadaffi about how Obama "Mans up"

Hey if Romney wins the GOP nomination purely through his opponents' self-destruction, so be it.

Obama is going to be a considerably tougher opponent.

I'll hand it to yo OD, You can still make me laugh with your ridiculous claims. Command of the facts...D'OH!

Here's some facts for ya to chew on:

GM was stolen from its rightful owners by presidential decree. Big whoop there!

Bin hiding, Al Qaeda etal met their fate because of GEORGE W. BUSH, Obama just agreed to continue the effort...After he convinced his idolaters that he was getting us out of there. Now he's a hero?

Unemployment is still around 9% overall. Jobs are opening in some areas but not in others. And most of those jobs are temp/contract and lousy pay. The rate is still hovering around 12% in parts of cali and elsewhere across the country QFR Manufacturing is down, residential sales and construction are down, manufacturer's goods are down, construction spending is down, home ownership is down, foreclosures are at an all time high still, all those are most important indicators of a recovering economy but we wont tread on Obama's great economic record with those facts right OD?

When the president of the United States of America can't come up with anything better than to blame someone else for his own debt...that's called chicken-shyte OD, not manning up. Mrs Obama mans up better than her chicken husband.

Adios.

Come November the number of voters that will be voting for Obama because " he captured Bin Laden " you could fit into the Red Sox dugout.

Anybody that thinks that Obama is going to win in a landslide and will give Romney " a shellacking " is whistling past the graveyard.

Youth vote enthusiasm is way down... the folks who " cling to their guns and their religion " may grouse a bit on Romney, but when the alternatives are 4 more years of Obama, they'll come out in droves to vote out Obama.

Barack Obama was trumpted as a brilliant Constitutional lawyer from the Harvard Review. If his signature piece of legislation was struck down by the US Supreme Court as Unconstitutional, no amount of Democratic spin will help that with Indepedendent voters. If gas prices at the pump are high, and if the deficit is escalating, and he can't get a single Democrat in the House to vote for his budget, that won't help. In 2008, Obama won a close race by beating out an old guy with bandaids on his face and a VP that is pretty but ditsy.

If Rubio is the Repubs. VP, it'd be interesting to see the #2 front man for " Hope and Change in Washington " ( Joe Biden ) debate Marco Rubio. Biden has been in Washington DC for half a century. Let Biden try and convince the young voters that " Hope and change " is not represented by the young Hispanic- American Marco Rubio. No, " Hope and change " is represented by a hair plugged political dinosaur by the name of Joe Biden who said the first time he met Obama he was struck by ( among other things ) " how CLEAN this man appears ".

OD used to bore me, now he's more entertaining because his tune never changes. Same blathering BS...

I'm reminded of that movie with the big headed martians..."Do not be afraid. We come in peace." ZAP!

Still, having the Evangeliban own the House, Senate, and Presidency would be a catastrophe.

Santorum has about as much chance of securing the Repub. nomination as does David Letterman getting the gap in his teeth fixed.

' Not happening.

Santorum yes a catastrophe, Romney not so bad, just not so good either. But what do we have now? Even if Saintorum won, it would at least offset the damage being done now until we can get a real president in the WH.
