Twins 3rd round pick from last year Corey William also made the trip. He has a total of 11.2 innings as a pro. Would be cool if he got an inning or 2 against that lineup.

Red Sox outfielders better keep their throws to 1B low...and they need to tell Punto he doesn't need to head-first slide to 1B every time he trots out there on defense to start an inning.

Hicks with a double to deep left off of a major league pitcher. I'll say it again, he needs to give up on switch hitting and just bat righty.

Followed by a Revere triple and a Carrol single and the Twins lead 2-0. Looks like Hendriks got himself a spot in the rotation too, only 1 hit.

It's going to be another brutally hot day at the ballpark, but there's a strong wind for those lucky enough to have seats that get it.

This offense actually has me excited. They look like they can put up a bunch of runs.

The Pirates starter finally gets yanked. He gave up 8 runs on 12 hits while only getting 7 outs.

It's really interesting what has gone down these last two weeks or so. Then again, this team had a similar spurt in June last season. Take it all with a grain of salt....but it's hard to deny some positive things have been happening.

(Not the least of which the roster moves concerning Revere and Butera.)
