"It's about paying your rent, heat, electricity........."
Is your fridge runnin?
WELL YOU BETTER GO CATCH IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Frank - did you read the Kenyan story I sent you?
Yea, I e-mailed you back didn't I? Or did I mean to e-mail you and then forget? If I had a nickel for every time that happened I'd have......wait....what were we talkin bout?
It was a GREAT read by the way. Awesome!
It is still going on in fact. I see the reports all the time.
The old adage of it is easier to get a job when you have a job is in play.
Basic underlying theme is that if you do not have a job you did something wrong or perhaps lower end of skills and first out the door.
Also, I am replying though I know posts follow and I am assuming that there would otherwise be a sonuva moment, so a general sonuva in advance.
I'm not sure he actually lives in AZ...if he does, otherwise how can he explain calling Tempe "nice".
Tempe was "nice" when my parents lived there in the 80s...not now. It's a college/party town now...and it's much more run down. Most of the homes there were old to begin with - now they're just decrepit.
I know this guy that stayed in a Tempe hotel (close to Arizona Mills Mall) - telling me he basically feared for his life at night as he was always hearing gunshots.
Plus, some neighborhoods complained when blacks moved in (it's still predominantly white however). An acquaintance of mine who is a realtor told me in one Tempe neighborhood, they didn't even want a black realtor hosting an open house for his listing.
He was embarrassed to inform the other realtor...but he thought it more important to warn him for his own safety since the realtor was going door to door passing our flyers and such.
So, I guess it depends on what Theo's means by "nice."
I sent it from work and then went home, lol.
Well, he IS a writer and all..........
I think he is from AZ actually.
I bet Theo knows the answer though if it is passed from brain to brain.
Now we need to wait for the answer.
Yea, I was on the lake all afternoon. Probably replied after you left. It was freakin hilarious, though.
Might even read it again right now, actually. Good stuff.
I heard he was from Cleveland.
