All three are about equally deserving. Does it matter who gets the "honor" of starting the game?

No. I'm not upset at all that Sale isn't starting the All Star game. Would it be nice to see his achievements thus far recognized? Sure. However, he wasn't a hands down best candidate, and its his first (of hopefully many) season starting for the Sox. The fact that he's pitched this well and made the game at all is fantastic. If he continues to pitch this well, he could very well be in the conversation for the Cy Young depending on his usage throughout the year.

Sale is fantastic. Sale being in the All Star game is fantastic. Having Sale healthy and ready to go for the second half is even more fantastic.

I'm in a good mood, so a lot of things are fantastic right now.

Nice to see Verlander get rocked in the 1st. He Has thrown a lot if pitches so far. I hope he can continue his ASG success into the 2nd half of the season.

I didn't say Verlander was. There wasn't an easy choice, but to say that Sale or Weaver were ignored is simply inaccurate. They are at the all star game. That in and of itself is acknowledgement.
