I was opining for Abreu for 4 years and in this last off season suggested we trade a couple of minor leaguers for him instead of going to arbitration with Young. We needed a lefty hitter to hit 2nd who gets on base and Abreu does that. Boesch has not been successful in the 2 hole and maybe Dirks will be better over time.

As long as Bobby's boobies have a higher OBP or OPS than Delmon Young, I'm all for the acquisition of boobies by any name.
