"until a starting position open up"

So, in what, three years when Ramirez' contract is up?

I'd love to go there during spring training someday.
But my wife hated it down there...which is weird because she loves warm weather.

Scooter Gennett, Brewers: As an undersized overachiever, the 5-foot-9, 164-pound Gennett not only knows he has to prove himself at every level, he seems to thrive on it. All he's done is hit through his pro career -- batting for average, showing more pop than one would expect and proving to be a solid baserunner. A former shortstop, Gennett's better suited for second base and continues to learn the position. After a very strong Arizona Fall League showing, he's ready to move up to Double-A and prove doubters wrong once again.

Ranked #8 2nd Basemen Prospect by MLB

I had fun the first time I went and would like to go again. However, maybe I should go somewhere else I have never been.

There is nothing like it. It is pretty laid back and you just sit in the sun all day sipping on beer.

Haha, I am probably doing the same trip the first week of April, only Arizona first.

More pop than Eckstein. I was honestly thinking Joe Inglett.

I like when 82 at night feels OK. 82 here at night would be terrible and sweaty.

Brewers system was ranked 28th overall this year. Still got a ways to go after gutting it the past few years. Also, Jungmann didn't throw at all, he could shoot up the ranks once he starts playing.

Unfortunately, with Jack Z went our depth. Seid has been a little unlucky (like with Covey), but also has grabbed a lot of college players without very high ceilings.

This past draft could kind of make or break him, since it was a pretty talented one. Need a couple impact guys to emerge in this system, and hopefully Jungmann or Bradley turn out to be that guy.
