OMG!...Trevor Plouffe went 4-4 with 3 HR's in the minor league game today. Former Tiger and should be perfect game thrower Armando Gallaraga started against The Twins AAA team.

Also, Morneau with his 3rd HR of the spring. Tweet from Joe C..."Audible gasp from the crowd at Hammond Stadium after Morneau made contact on that two-run homer off Vance Worley." I'm guessing that means he hit it pretty hard.

Liriano got into some trouble in the 3rd but escaped only giving up one run. A couple strikeouts helped.

Provus went RIGHT into the homer call.

Jason Heyward just hit a two run shot to tie the game in the bottom of the 9th. A fantastic swing by that kid, he struggled last season, but he is way to talented to not have a bounce back season.

Dozier grounds out in the 9th, and he is struggling down the stretch of spring, with his average slipping down to .219.

I know he has made a very good impression on the big boy club, which is important in itself, but I just don't think he is coming North.

Alex Burnett pitches in the 9th, gives up a bomb, walks a batter, but gets the final three outs.

Twins Win again 11-7. Twins now 15-12 this spring.

Matt Maloney getting the start agianst the Pirates. With the uncertainty about Baker and Marquis ready to start the season, the Twins want to stretch Maloney out a little bit. I also notice the Twins brought prospect Angel Morales with them.
