When has he?
I don't recall one incident.

"Why does this bother you so much? Should African Americans not be activists for African Americans? "

Maybe you missed what I said, I said I wouldn't have a problem with him or Jesse at all if they came out and were thruthful and said they were African American activits and not hide behind the "rainbow" and racial activist moniker because they don't care about ANY other minority races other than their own.

Sorry, but none of that makes any sense. both men have admitted to personally specifically focusing on African americans, even while fulfilling the missions of those organizations. you DO know what the '"C" in NAACP stands for, right?

and your claim that this would "make it okay with you if they would just say it" its truly worthy of a BS flag... which I will now throw on the field...

*BS*

I have no problem with them sticking up and being an activist for their race.
More power to them, more people should be that way and I truly believe every race should be treated equal.

My issue is they try to come off as being these messiahs for all minority races, when they aren't.
And they try to make every incident racial when it involves an African American and a non African American and I don't think thats right, not every incident happens because of race, ever think it happens because of the ACTUAL ACTIONS of the person involved?

And NAACP ...........yes I know what the C stands for but thats an entire other bag of worms.

Your problem appears to be your own hyperbole. here's some advice: stop working so hard to enrage yourself.

"Still waiting on your theory, big guy. Are you too embarrassed to post it? I figured."

What ever you 'figured' is you have your rediculous theory and any other sequence of actual facts will just clutter your mind further... beyond the arguementative mess you have become...this weekend will provide several bullhorn soundbites from your voting base, so why don't you have your wife pick up some popcorn from the store so you can enjoy the activists on parade 24/7.

okay, that's fine.... believe me, I know they are self-promoters. But I also know they have made a difference, which is more than I can say for a lot of people. So you'll have to excuse me if i don't use words like "racist" and "evil" for them.

Your Debate 101 method (this time "your therory?") you enjoy to pull out when you have been once again been proven to be WRONG is just the right touch to prove your bankrupt Liberal lifestyle. This is the point when you should pull a buckball and declare you win(!), besides the popcorn is almost ready and you can yell "biggoted redneck" at the TV.

Your theory? By all means, keep whining all day... but, if you please, take a few seconds to state your theory.

What's the matter? Embarrassed? yeah, you're embarrassed.

Never mind that Trayvon allegedly attacked the guy from behind and broke his nose. Never mind that the police determined it to be self defense. Lets call it murder and make it a black/white(hispanic) thing.

The only embarrassing thing I see is you groveling for a way to defend a racialy manufactured crisis and a way to justify your support for it. You probably nodded your head in support of the President of the United States remarking sadly that the Tray was just like his son would have been.
That devisive statement shows you where his basic organizer instincts are.

I undertand, I know they have made a difference for their race.
I just wish they were more like MLK and actually were up front and real about who they are and what they are trying to set out to do.
But there aren't many people as great and true as he was.

I just got tired of them always trying to make things racial when they aren't always that way.

In some cases yes and African American are the victims of a crime because their race, in others they are just a victim because of their actions.

There was a local case on Long Island by me , just blocks from my house a couple of years ago an African American father shot a white kid in the face and killed him when a bunch of white kids showed up at his house that wanted to confront his kid.
It wasn't because he was African American even if some kids may have used racial slurs, they went to the kids house because he threatened to r@pe one of thier friends and they would have done the same thing no matter what the kids race was.
But good old Al tried to make it into a hate crime and have the African American family the victims when the real victim was the family that had a teenage kid who was un armed get killed by an adult with a loaded shotgun.
And they lived in a nice neighborhood so it's not like a 911 call would have went un responded to.
The guy had no business waving a loaded shotgun at kids, but Al and Jesse didn't seem to care about any of that they tried to say it was a racial hate crime with no remorse a teenage kid was murdered.

yes, I'm sure this child was trying to mug this 250 pound man with skittles and iced tea. yes, makes perfect sense.

That's kind of the disconnect here.... try for one moment to imagine it's YOUR child...

hey, i can see why that bothers you. They are not infallible, and I'm not really a big supporter of either of them (contrary to what the crazy old man here in the thread is saying between drooling sessions)

And there was another witness, a woman, who lived nearby, who said that Trayvon was face-down on the grass and Zimmerman was on top of HIM. I guess that's all for the jury to sort out, but with Zimmerman still free there will be no jury.
If Zimmerman doesn't follow the kid it's all moot; by legal precedent if the "victim" follows someone they can not claim self-defense if they are then attacked. This didn't have to happen. There were zero witnesses who said that Zimmerman simply tried to get away and Trayvon chased HIM.

We will see what happens when the FACTS come out, not the assumption the media made.

I'm not saying it's not a horrible situation and horrible story, but I'm also not saying that it wasn't self defense. The man was bleeding out of the back of his head and nose, the fact he was struck hard enough in the back of the head to cause an open wound would suggest not only was hit from behind, he was also struck with something other than a fist.

I will wait to case judgement when I hear the facts the case, what really happened and I'm not going to make it a black white thing like so many are doing.
