don't hold your breath. that recent positive 2 week stretch we had bought him at least another month or so.

also, another game missed for mauer. i've never ever ragged on him for the injury stuff, but this is getting ridiculous. does he just have terrible luck or is he the least tough player in the game? or is someone holding him out every time anything is sore?

LOL! I'm not holding my breath on ANYTHING Minnesota sports-related. The T-Wolves have really given the state's only (minor) reason to smile recently (besides the Lynx, of course), and even that smells to me like a short-term success.

That's because Liam Hendriks doesnt have the stuff to be a Major League pitcher. He didnt lose his spot in the majors due to "command" or whatever. He lost it due to stuff. People on here saw him kicking a** in AAA and wanted him to come back up, well that's because he can get away with his stuff there. He doesn't throw hard enough to make people regularly swing and miss, he doesnt throw hard enough to make them decide early whether to swing or not and he doesnt have any pitch that can make his stuff deceiving enough. It's the same thing kevin slowey dealt with.
