I'll be curious to see how bama responds against michigan. Lost a lot of key players on defense so will the replacements live up to tradition. I love college football and can't wait for the season to commence.

Michigan is getting a lot of respect, that should be a heck of a game between them an 'Bama. I will def be watching it. Gotta root for Bama too, I always root for our conference teams to beat non-conference teams...well, that is a lie, if it was kansas or Kstate I always rooted against them. HAHA

I'm that way with LSU/Florida/Auburn. If those 3 happen to lose I'm okay with that.

Yes, the baseball debacle of 2012 has only energized me for college football as well. With the Michigan off the field issues it will be interesting to see how they respond. Not sure why this isn't at the Big House or Bryant-Denny but money talks I guess.

That's exactly what it is. They will be paid by the stadium to have the game there.

I quite buying MU season tickets about 5 years ago because of that. We were playing Ill in StLouis and Kansas in Kansas City. That was BS. IMO. Then they would give us 3 other non-conference crappy games at home to try and make up for it. Yeah, I'm going just dismiss the Ill game not being a home and a way because we have Middle Ten State at home.

I would have rather drove to that crappy little town called lawrence every other year and beat them at home then drive to KC every year. KC is actually only about 80miles from Columbia so it's not a bad drive but I still like the home field aspect of college football.

those big rivalry games need to be in one of the two stadiums. I know money motivates but it's a shame that the games like Miss/KU get moved.

I totally agree. You Bama playing Michigan will basically be a BCS bowl game this year if MI doesn't flop.
