I think the only reason they were mentioned together was because they both had big nights.

Well, I figured that. I just feel it was a dumb comment. The guy who said it was basically saying that 2 homeruns, a double, and 5 rbi is nothing compared to what Granderson did, which of course it isn't, but what's the point in comparing the two? In it's own right, any player would happily take what Freeman did, any day of the week. So to put it up there and compare it to what Granderson did was just dumb, no matter what they guys intentions were.

Another HR. That ties him with McCann and Freddie for the team lead.

Hard to not root this kid on now. He's been fine since the 3 error game.

And....he gives Martin a chance to stay in one position and get comfortable!!

That is definitely a big plus. No need to add any unneeded stress for Prado to go back and forth between the infield and outfield.

Yeah...and I'm sure he appreciates it.

Wow. Not even Votto has 3 HRs yet. The Reds have had offensive problems I wonder if some fans will be bummed about this. I still think regardless he needed a change of scenery, but I won't be able to stop myself from checking the Reds board everytime he does something good.

I heard Hoover is doing very well for their AAA team though.

It could be a very good trade for both...I kinda like the guy, but understand why some don't....definitely has helped the offense, and other than the one game, hasn't killed us on defense...at 24, I think it was worth the risk.

He would be tied for first with Bruce the team lead in HRs.

Instead he's tied with Mac and Freddie on our team.

One of the unexpected occurrences of a baseball season.

All he needs is a little help from Walker with some plate discipline (and how to maybe compact his swing a little?) and AB's. Could end up being a STUD imo

Personally I wouldn't shorten his swing, could mess him up,too much power there, plus he will have a lot of strikeouts I'm sure.

Fransisco has been a pleasant surprise. He needs to spot start, because pitchers will eat him up with that big swing given regular playing time IMO. I cringe watching him bat, but as long as the results are there he can swing as hard as he likes.
