From the side they look ok, straight on they are terrible. The white jersey and pants is as bad as it gets. The Orange may be the only decent colors. I would have worn an older jersey or hat as a Padre fan, now, passss.

I have been a fish fan ever since they came on the scene in 1993, but these new colors are HORRID. Thankfully, I have several of the old black and teal that I can sqeeze another decade out of. Won't be buying any of the new ones.

I wouldn't put to much stock into what gone_fishing thinks Marlins fans!

After all he thinks Jeff Mathis is the best catcher in the game!

New Logo & Uni's are Dead On

First seeing the M logo i said to myself who the F....did this logo and where can i congratulate him or her for ripping off this organization; get it while the getting is good.....but i get it Now.....didn't get use to it.....but get the genius behind it....

I'm not from Miami, not even from the US....but the uniforms are dead ON.....
Miami is probably one of the most specific, diverse and energetic markets in country....anyone who thinks you can sell lets go out to the ball game for peanuts and crackerjacks and think its gonna fly is real short sighted....i think they thought this through in a very focused way and they made effort to appeal to the CASUAL fan, making it more about being festive, yet nothing real "exploitative"....no teal anymore bc they want to make own tradition and legacy, not lean on miami dolps.....guessing..... condolences to long time fans of franchise....

But baseball in miami only works in miami, a city where theres WAY too much play and trendiness to fill a ballpark consistent unless you make it fun colourful & and reflecting the city. Baseballs got a HUGE South American Influence & History and their stamp is finally reflected in the game. if everyone else can hop on the bus, its a bonus but it's miami's team, let them do baseball their way......

It has already been said, yes the hat logo is too big.

The parts I don't like:

The yellow in the logo looks out of place. Why not just make that part orange?
White lettering for MIAMI on the road jersey. I think it would look better black.

I don't mind the rest. I would incorporate the blue more down the line.

I really liked the original logo and black/teal. I wished they had brought more of the teal back. If it were my team I would of made the road cap the old one from the mid 90's (teal cap, black brim). Who knows what'll happen down the line. Maybe someday the future Marlins will be like the Orioles and Blue Jays of today and adopt a retro look.

I'd like to see them go back to the pinstripes. Not a big fan if the new uniforms, they kind of remind me of the Astros in the 80's.
