Doesn't matter what kind of track you call it. He's on a track to the bigs . And it ain't a slow one.

Sounds good to me. I love how these guys come up and put new fire in a team. I think we may have a couple roster spots:)

In AAA Geltz pitched in 2 games for 1.2 IP and got lit up... 21.60 ERA /3.60 WHIP. He has pitched a total of 2 innings in AAA for 2012. He is coming along but I wouldn't say "fast track".

I've been looking for Geltz' arrival, too. But, after seeing what Carpenter has done (after he looked unhittable in the minors), I will reserve judgement for now.

Cassevah has been optioned to Salt Lake City. Roster move to be announced tomorrow. Could be Geltz.

Glad Geltz got promoted to AAA (long overdue). But imo Brasier should get the nod over him. However, neither one is on the 40-man. So they'll probably just bring back someone like Romine until somebody on the DL like Hawkins, Wilson or Ianetta returns.

Picky Picky we just need the guy to be better than Cassevah he doesn't have to be the second coming of Krod his numbers look fine to me what the heck do you want? We have setup men and closers we just need a guy we can throw in a game and not be a gas can like Cassevah. Let's give the kid a chance.

Isn't Weaver coming off the DL?

Hawkins is eligible to come of the DL today (6/9) and pitched a rehab in Salt Lake so I think he's probly gonna take Cassevah's spot. I believe Weave isn't eligible till 6/12.

Sounds like a reasonable hypothesis.
