It is concerning. We sat through that with Stewie last year. Most of our starting pitchers had a higher BA than Stewie did. Don't want to see that happen to Dex this year. I'm not sure what kind of real trade value he has. Let's just hope he works through this in ST.

No, I'd think he still has significant trade value. It's just spring and teams hurting for outfielders see a young fast player who ended last season with an acceptable totaled batting stat (although extremely streaky) who's cheap. They might have to parlay some cash or prospects, but I'd think he's still a good chip at this moment in time.

If they hold on and he does this a few weeks into the season... then you've got a problem.

Now Fowler is posted at 1 for 22. That's a .045 batting average... they really can't be considering putting him on the opening day lineup with that, right? Scary stuff.
