I've actually always felt that if they did turn Cena heel again, all the people who hated him would stop hating him as much because he'd finally be doing something fresh and different again. There would probably be some Schadenfreude in there because they'd all be laughing at all the kids who adored Cena.

That's true. They were in the Bronx not long ago and Mark Henry and Alberto Del Rio were there for the bullying thing. I think that turning Cena heel may have the same effect that trying to do it with Stone Cold did. Remember when they had that run where EWC/WCW was trying to take over WWE? Steve Austin sided with WCW in attempt to turn him heel, and it didn't work. I think if they tried it with Cena the same thing would happen because those that don't like him already won't like him, and I don't think they'll sway the ones that do like him. I would probably like him a little better because I have always liked the heels better. From both, guys like Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, CM Punk, Edge (even though he's gone now) and Bobby Roode have better characters as heels. Chris Jericho is one of my favorites right now.

Randy Orton has always been someone I thought was better as a heel. He gets a little stale in the role he is used now.

Heck yes, Randy Orton is another of my favorites. Much better as a heel. He is another that is kind of a Stone Cold, Undertaker type. You like them as both.

That is a great idea but, I'm not totally opposed to the CM Punk and John Laurinaitis feud that had been going on a few weeks ago. I missed the last couple shows so I don't know if it still is.
CM Punk played that part pretty well but Johnny just gets on my nerves a little.

Several TNA sources have now confirmed that Ric Flair has “quit” TNA Wrestling. According to three different TNA sources, Flair no-showed several TNA events last weekend and didn’t show up to the iMPACT! tapings last Monday and Tuesday. TNA is trying to smooth things over but as of now, he is done with the company. Flair and Dixie Carter have had talks over the past week. There are rumblings that Flair will be signing with WWE under a “Legends Deal” to help promote the WWE Network. Flair also has an energy drink and lottery endorsements which he’s making money from.

As we noted earlier, people close to Ric Flair and TNA have confirmed that the two sides are at a major impasse, as there is a ton of heat on Flair for conduct outside the ring. One TNA source described the situation as, “being at the point it’s not worth keeping Flair around.” There have reportedly been a number of incidents involving Flair at local establishments and bars in Orlando since coming to the company. Sources say that Flair was banned from drinking at the Hard Rock Cafe in Citiwalk due to an incident with him “acting inappropriate”, leading to venue management banishing him.

There have been reports from talent in TNA that Flair has not been able to cover bar tabs repeatedly, and company management getting a call from the hotel and/or bar seeking payment. The most recent incident at the hotel TNA utilizes for their wrestlers and staff, which the company has had a great relationship with for years. This was reportedly the last straw in the situation, as Flair was pulled from the Louisiana house shows and the final TV Tapings before Impact Wrestling goes live on May 31st.

Many have compared this to the situation on the European tour last year, where TNA’s Craig Jenkins, after several days of fronting Flair money to cover a bar tab, refused to do so again. Flair then screamed at Jenkins in front of the entire crew and refusing to get on the TNA tour bus to head to the next date, and was then left behind. Publicly, Flair blamed the matter on the company not giving him “advances” like he would get when touring for WWE, citing that he was “used” to that treatment.

Many forces within the company have been against having him as a regular since he came into the company, noting that while he carries a high price tag, he hasn’t translated into drawing money or ratings for the company. And now with these issues, it seems, as all they are getting is “Ric Flair level behavior,” not “Ric Flair level performances.”

Others within the company feel that Flair and WWE put them in a “no win situation” when Flair was announced for the WWE Hall of Fame, noting that the company had no choice but to allow him to go in, or else they would look like they were denying Flair and the fans. Flair reportedly did not know that he was getting inducted but he publicly told fans he would be there “on stage” before a deal was signed that would allow him to appear.

Spike TV sources also note that there have also been a number of requests from the network end to keep Flair dressed and not have him near nude/in his wrestling gear and bleeding on TV at his age. There was even an order of arrest out for him if Flair did not pay the agreed settlement by a certain date. That order was issued because Flair had missed several agreed dates for payment of the settlement. The money was eventually paid and the NWA World title belt, which Highspots.com was holding as collateral, was seen displayed at WWE AXXESS this year. Most believe that WWE paid the debt and acquired the belt for their archive.

Unfortunately since leaving WWE, Flair has had several issues. He signed for a number of appearances with Ring of Honor, and then pulled out citing his relationship with WWE. Most feel that Flair realized ROH weren’t going to use Reid Flair following a drug arrest. When Flair didn’t pay back an advance given to him, ROH filed a lawsuit against him Flair also had issues with Highspots.com over money owed to them.

Another source reports that Alex Shelley has quit the company as well. We can’t confirm that as of this writing. As noted earlier, WWE is looking at doing a “cruiserweight” show on the WWE Network and they are said to be interested in Shelley.

We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.

WWE.com has shortened Lord Tensai’s name as he is now simply being referred to as Tensai. This is not the only character tweak as last week during his match against Tyson Kidd on WWE Superstars, he appeared sans robe, shoved Sakamoto and competed more aggressively.

Following Sunday’s Over the Limit main event, it is expected that John Cena vs. The Big Show will take place at No Way Out in June. There is also talk that the bout will be a steel cage match to go along with the concept of “no way out.”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- As noted before, TNA has re-signed X Division Champion Austin Aries to a new deal. PWInsider reports that he’s only signed for an extra year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While WWE claims that the switch to three-hours for RAW is permanent, people within the company believe that the show will be back to two-hours before the end of the year – whether the first hour be dropped or moved to the WWE Network as a recap or pre-show going into the 9pm timeslot.

It’s important to note that permanently moving RAW up would dramatically affect any West coast tapings. For example, shows in Los Angeles would have to start at 4:30pm on a work day.

A lot of people in the company have privately expressed dread at the move to three-hours.

Former ECW valet Beulah McGillicutty and her two children were involved in an automobile accident Saturday. They are okay.

Tommy Dreamer, her husband, tweeted, “Beulah & my girls got in car accident they are ok. My dog had another bad seizure. I am in Ohio. Life on the road takes a toll on your heart.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TNA star Gunner announced on Friday that he’s signed a new deal that will keep him in TNA through 2015. He tweeted @TNA_Gunner:

“Proud to say I’ve signed 3 more years with Impact wrestling aka TNA! I will make the most out of this! World Champion? Oneday, ya <damn rite”

- TNA referee Earl Hebner also announced on Friday that he’s signed a new TNA contract. He tweeted @TheEarlHebner:

“I signed with TNA for 2013. This is home for me. When I leave, my ref shirt and boots will be hanging on TNA ring ropes.”

- Kid Kash has not left TNA Wrestling, and is still with the company. He is said to be training for an MMA bout he has next month.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As previously reported, Alex Shelley is leaving TNA when his contract is up, which should happen shortly. It was reportedly his call to not renew.

WWE is looking at building up their cruiserweight roster, either for the new cruiserweight show planned for the WWE Network or for their weekly shows. While nothing is confirmed, Shelley will likely end up in WWE

Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal spoke with Sherdog and said that he will do a few TNA shows a month.

Lawal said: “MMA will come first, and pro wrestling will be second – a close second. I’ll do a few (pro wrestling) shows a month and then I’ll train. If I have a fight coming up, I won’t be doing shows or taping.” As to his character, Lawal said, “They (TNA) told me I’m going to be King Mo. Maybe we’ll refine some things at OVW, but as far as everything goes, from what I’ve understood, I’m going to be an MMA fighter that steps foot in the squared circle. I’m going to be me.”

Lame on you WWE for teaming Sheamus up with Cena and trying to force him on us as a face. Lame.

Alex Shelley, whose contract with TNA Wrestling is set to expire, is reportedly jumping ship to WWE. This is according to former WCW broadcaster Mark Madden. He wrote on Twitter:

“Good luck to Alex Shelley, WWE-bound. A real talent. Let’s c if he’s used rite. Shame 2c MCMGs break up. Best tag team in U.S.”

Let's hope he's used right. Would be great if WWE brings back the Cruiserweight title and all back.

Jeff Jarrett is top 30, but Vinnie Mac hates his guts.

Dennis Rodman is on the list...ROFL. I think I would have put Scott Steiner and Arn Anderson ahead of Hogan and Nash. Hogan and Nash were not in WCW that long and Steiner and Anderson were staples for them.
