marlins bought a port-o-potty for Zambrano to use as his clubhouse locker!
This way they can keep him away from the other players and NOT infect them!

Who's going to be the guy who pulls Big Z and Hanley apart when they dook it out in the clubhouse for the first time? :)

Zambrainless shouldn't be in baseball.....AT ALL.....PERIOD!

"You must be a fan of WWF"

No, I'm not an 8 year old, but it would be great if they made those obnoxious intros for Ozzie, Hanley, and Zambrano. I would come up with some ridiculous names but I'm no good at stuff.

GO FISH!!! THE BODIES OF BIG Z AND HANRAM WERE FOUND ON THE MARLINS' 5TH DAY OF SPRING TRAINING AND OZZIE GUILLEN IS REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN SEEN FLEEING ROGER DEAN STADIUM FULLY NUDE WITH A BLOODY BAT HANDLE IN HAND!!!!

p.s.
Said Beinfest of the clinically insane manager: “There’s plenty of guys who break the law and commit murder and even double murders. I’m not condoning that in any way. But it does happen in the game, and it happens with some very good players and managers that are just demonstrative with their competitiveness.”

p.p.s.
The above quote is not real, but simply a modified version of a similarly worded quote.

I figure Ozzie will just jump in, and it will be like one of those cartoon fights with a cloud of dust rolling around the dugout and clubhouse. During a game it will be rolling around the field absorbing other players/umpires into the violent vortex. Eventually they will call in SWAT to contain it. lol

Hi all, Cubs fan here who comes in peace. I'm really not sure why anyone would want Z. Every year he comes in from the off-season in great shape and then goes downhill. Every year he says he is starting fresh and then reverts back to the same old Z. Between all of the outlandish behavior and being injured playing video games this guys has MAJOR issues. Good luck with him, I hope for all of your sakes he got the jaws of life as a Christmas present so he can remove his head from his rear but I'm not thinking it will help. Thanks for taking him, I would have settled for a bat rack and a bag of batting practice balls in return ;)

Yes, you are correct because "ALL" in this case literally does mean everyone in the entire universe. Thanks 305, next time I will just use the option address to "every fan not paying attention". I must have missed it between EMBRACETHEGOAT and FLfish1.(sarcasm)

If you will notice I did make an exception for 2 or 3 other fans (since were taking everything so literally), so consider yourself one of them.

Are you just trying to a pain in *** 305?

GO FISH!!! ZAMBRANO WILL DESTROY THIS TEAM!!!!

Make that 70. Not that it really matters, or ever did. If this thread ever did hit 10,000 (it won't) Zambrano would be a free agent by then (or retired), so in a way it would be like it worked. lol

If I can toss in my two cents, there were some Yankee fans who wanted Carlos Zambrano in pinstripes. But I never wanted him after the 2007 season in which he showed that he will simply never grow up.

I think for any team to take this guy from the Cubs, they should definitely not give him any extension and also have a group of handlers who will be able quarantine Zambrano from the rest of the clubhouse when he loses it and starts bomb-throwing, which he will before the year is over.

"and also have a group of handlers who will be able quarantine Zambrano from the rest of the clubhouse when he loses it and starts bomb-throwing"

ROFLOL

The first thought that came into my head after reading that was a group of rodeo clowns trying to lure Zambrano back into his cage. I can't stop laughing. Keep him away from the poor defenseless water coolers.

GO FISH!!! NO MORE CHEERLEADERS JUST RODEO CLOWNS FOR BIG Z!!!!

Count me in. The guy is a cancer and I feel like the team is bringing him in just for entertainment value. I cannot see this guy contributing to the Marlins' season next year. I'll gladly eat crow if I'm wrong but I think this is a very very bad move for the team.

Your plan for 10,000 posts will work (in a way).

But Zambrano will be retiring when we get to 10,000. : )

White Sox fan here, just glad this made Ozzie happy AFTER he left town here.

My condolences, he's a head case and Ozzie thinks he can control him.
Time will tell.

But enjoy Mark Buehrle, he's a real professional, both on and off the field.

Thanks, I know what you mean Buehrle was my favorite offseason acquisition by a mile. I think he is really going to help out the Marlins rotation.

GO FISH!!!

This could prove to be a good move with the Cubs paying the vast amount of his pay.
Ozzie and Carlos are friends. Maybe Ozzie has a better handle on him.
Zambrano at times has been a quality pitcher. But as you said only time will tell.
