Heh, I'm not watching the Astros, but I'm sure it was quite the site.

And if it makes you feel any better, maybe next year you won't need to see Chris Young at 3rd. He might be DH'ing.

Two of my three favorite pitchers (Tim and Mo) disappointing today. Not to mention I like Shields.

At least I still have King Felix.

I think it's like a fielder's choice. So it counts, and is bad.

Hahaha Goldschmidt completely owns Lincecum. It's hilarious.

Lincecum's ERA is 27. Bauer's is 0. Give up now.

Too bad he can't hit against anyone else.

Bauer doesn't even qualify. Give up now.

Can I ask you a question? Why does it seem like the Astros can't get any good draft picks. They should be getting pretty early picks, yet they never seem to have a top prospect in their farm.

<Why does it seem like the Astros can't get any good draft picks.>

I'll answer that. Because A) the Astros had idiots running the club the past few years who signed over the hill free agents costing the Astros high picks and B) the Astros have concentrated on low risk, low ceiling college players rather than higher risk but higher ceiling high schoolers.

Welp, maybe without Wade up top you guys can get something going. The AL West is an interesting division, and in 5 years time I bet the Stros' can get it done there if they make some good, bold moves.

Maybe, but maybe not. With two free spending clubs in Texas and LA, things don't look too bright as far as contending. Maybe we can do well against the A's and M's.

I know you aren't a fan of them, but the wildcards definitely give you something to work for. I want to see the Astros succeed again, because all their fans right now deserve it. It's awesome that guys like you and Tarrou are sticking with them.

Goldschmidt's a pretty good hitter.

It's nothing special... just part of being a fan. You've got to go through the hard times to properly enjoy the good times. Any idiot can bandwagon.
