Well, the worst case scenario is that he gets hurt or flounders and we never see him get out of the minors. I agree with your best case scenario...if Wallace can avoid being a liability on defense at 3B, and hits the way he has to date, he will be huge for us. A legit clean-up hitter playing 3B everyday allows Rasmus to leadoff, among a lot of other possibilities. Is this the Cardinals line-up of 2010 or 2011?

I hope so...only Pujols and Ankiel would have significant salaries...imagine the pitching staff that could be paid for. Especially if one or two of Todd, Boggs, and Garcia, show some staying power along with Wainwright. It's nice to have these names to throw around....been a while since we could be excited about anyone coming up.
