The kilted scottsman tonight went 1-3 with a single a run score and a walk , his average hovering at a terrible .372 ... WHATS WRONG WITH YA LAD!!
He turned 1 double play tonight and had 1 throwing error at 3rd, seems like his only errors are throwing errors.....

GO CARDS GREAT WIN TONIGHT!

I imagine he'll be in Palm Beach soon, and he might even get the call to Springfield before the year is over. That's probably expecting too much, but the mad Scottsman kills baseballs.

I bet they dont move him this year and wouldnt be suprised if he starts next year in Springfield.

I hope he is in Springfield next year!! That will give me more of a reason to go watch the games.

Take a look to the sky just before you die
It is the last time you will
Blackened roar massive roar fills the crumbling sky
Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry
Stranger now, are his eyes, to this mystery
He hears the silence so loud
Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be
Now they will see what will be, blinded eyes to see

For whom the bell tolls
Time marches on
For whom the bell tolls

0-4 1 k .333

There’s nae difference between a bagpipe and an onion, except nobody cries when they chop up a bagpipe.

Wallace had some haggas and went to bed early , no game tonight

The highlander was a sterling 2-5 lats night with 2 singles and a run scored......in the top of the 11th inning sir wallace singled then scored what would be the game winning run.....batting .339/.458/.542

Well, the worst case scenario is that he gets hurt or flounders and we never see him get out of the minors. I agree with your best case scenario...if Wallace can avoid being a liability on defense at 3B, and hits the way he has to date, he will be huge for us. A legit clean-up hitter playing 3B everyday allows Rasmus to leadoff, among a lot of other possibilities. Is this the Cardinals line-up of 2010 or 2011?

RF-Rasmus
LF-Jay
1B-Pujols
3B-Wallace
CF-Ankiel
C -Anderson
SS-Barden
Pitcher
2B-Hoffpauir

I hope so...only Pujols and Ankiel would have significant salaries...imagine the pitching staff that could be paid for. Especially if one or two of Todd, Boggs, and Garcia, show some staying power along with Wainwright. It's nice to have these names to throw around....been a while since we could be excited about anyone coming up.
