Kersh. this game, 8/19/2012, is the Sandy Koufax example of pitching nearly perfect yet the hitting was out to lunch. Koufax endured many losses while pitching so good to win while the team hitting in Koufax's day was lacking.

Kersh is and will endure the same because Kersh is the rising star, great in pitching, and his cross to bear is to pitch great, well enough to win while at times the team is out to lunch.

I bet this team would have the "drive" if Kirk Gibson was the manager, Dusty Baker was the hitting coach, Orel Hershizer was the pitching coach, Davey Lopes was the base running/1st base coach, Mike Sciosia the third base coach and Sandy Koufax as pitching advisor. Why did we let all of our past talent get away (except Davey)?
