I FINALLY hit my first 500 series tonight.

I hit my first 4-bagger of the season in the 2nd game too. But what I loved most tonight, was I was in the pocket all night long, I picked up the spares. We also won the 50/50 took home $12 for each teammate and we won 2 games plus series. My average is up to 146. Now I need to get my Thursday league up, but this certainly helps.

Well, I had a very tough night, best of times, worst of times...LOL

Thank goodness for the 187 game. In this league, I have a 136 average and am struggling. In my Tuesday league, I have a 146 average and seem to find something. So now I need to do the same thing here. My biggest problem is I don't throw any shadow ball because I have to pick up one of my teammates. She doesn't get off work until 6:00 and I pick her up at the mall around 6:25, so we usually get there after they had started. Any advice on how I can get my focus in right away?

Thank you, it has. It was nice to be able to throw 8, 9, or strike on the first ball so I could pick up the spares if I didn't get the strike.

It's nice to be able to hit my mark and see my ball hook a bit more and get some pin action. That is what I have been doing differently. I also was robbed of a couple of strike shots that on any given night, I could have hit, I left the 4 pin and the 7 pin. My average is now up to 148, now I need to bowl like this on Thursday nights. My average is a 136, and I was told to be more greedy and worry about my bowling a bit more. I am going to try that. What was awesome though were our 3 scores as a team, we faced off against a very good team. We bowled over 1100 or above to win 2 games and total. Very fun night.

Interesting night, I did better than my average on all 3 games, but I left some spares I should have picked up.

My average is now up to 137, some nights it's better to get above your average and you just go get them next week. My biggest problem though had to be when I threw the first ball, I was too high alot of times. So I kept moving to the left, moving to the left. But alot of spares tonight, so I'll take them.

By far the highest series I had on Thursday night league. My average jumped up to 140 there, so I think I turned the corner. We shall see.

148 for a 479 series. All above my average, I moved up to 148. My big thing though was in that 3rd game. I buried the pocket in 3 of the 4 splits I made, yet the 1 split I should have had, I picked up the 5-7 split...LOL But I'll take it, I am happy my average finally is moving up and I am hitting the pocket alot more too. I only had 8 open frames, which is pretty good for me. And yet 4 of those 8 were in the 3rd game.

Thank you, yeah I am starting to get my swagger back when I bowl, even if the strikes don't fall, I get alot of 9 counts and spares. Even last Thursday night, my average for the season was only a 137, so I finally shot a good night there, and it's up to 140. Keep shooting above my averages helps that average get raised. We even talked about the state tournament last night for the first time this season.

Nope im still using my old ball. But i did acquire a plastic ball that has done wonders for me. Im picking up the 10 pin which is fantastic.

I did decent yesterday.
