I went to a 9:50 showing of Ted on Friday that was sold out. I couldn't believe it.

The idea is funny but I'm guessing there aren't a lot of high speed chases and explosions.

Oh nevermind I saw Sherlock Holmes with a bunch of friends in the winter, but I was so exhausted that day I could barely stay awake. My parents saw Hunger Games, and I would have gone if I didn't have other plans. Would you still recommend that?

I watched Goon on netflix last night. Hilarious.

I am watching J. Edgar, people said it was boring but I like it so far, probably just because I love history.

I just don't like how instead of hiring older actors they just made Leonardo DiCaprio and a couple other characters look old. Well it is creepy! The Clide character just looks bad.

You know what I realized a while ago? RL Stine's Goosebumps is a total ripoff of Twilight Zone. I was watching Twilight Zone one time, and the plot and twist sounded so familiar, I was like where have I heard this before? Then after a while I remembered it was a Goosebumps book I had read as a kid.

A lot is a copy off of the Twilight Zone. It was groundbreaking for its time because of how unique the stories were.

It's heavily referenced in pop culture still (The Simpsons does a ton), and I bet you could find a lot of horror films or pstchological thrillers with similar stories or twists.

You should look up more, it's quite good.

Goosebumps was basically my indoctrination into horror/mystery/suspense stuff. In grade school I would check out a new Goosebumps book from the school library every week. I would always rent the videos from Blockbuster too, and they would sometimes scare me.

I remember reading Goosebumps as well and then some of the episodes were on Nickelodeon and I actually found them scary.

The Grateful Dead did most of the music for the original Twilight Zone series.

The only episode I really remember had a guy picking which of his friends got to go into a bunker with him during a panic. If I remember right, there is a limited amount of food and he's trying to decide who he lets in with him. It was really intense. I'll have to watch more of them.

I remember one where a guy went back in time and met Elvis. But they disagreed on something, got into a fight, and the guy accidentally killed Elvis...so he dressed the part and became Elvis so as not to interrupt the rock & roll timeline.
