Listening to Bobby V. speak, he is a very articualte, well spoken person. That being said, he always seems to find a way to get himself in hot water with his statements, particularly with the evaluation of his players when talking to the media. As far as a manager goes, he did lead us to the World Series in 2000, with a starting pitching staff (save for Mike Hampton), and an outfield that was average as far as talent goes, during that 2000 season.
