Yeah interesting enough, Jeter was the same age as Sano and at the same level when he made 56 errors. The next year he cut it down to 25 errors so hopefully Sano can cut them in half too! :)

I think parmelee will be the starting 1B next year.

He is dominating AAA thats for sure. Best case scenario for the Twins is that Morneau finishes strong and gets his trade value up so the Twins can trade him in the off season. Parmelee would then have 1st all to himself. Another scenario would be trading Span and having Parmelee play RF next year. Either way I am hopeful that he will never again play a game at the AAA level after September 3rd of this year.

Really! So where's Morneau?

He's probably assuming Morneau gets traded.

I would hope he wouldn't assume that.

I haven't seen much of Arcia's name lately? Is he struggling right now or injured?

Yeah he's cooled down the last week or so. Just 1 hit in his last 17 AB's with 6 K's.

OK so Gibson just pitched for the GC Twins again. Faced 5 batters, gave up a (bunt) hit and struck out 1.

Is this typical practice for pitchers recovering from Tommy John? The 2-3 inning starts followed by a day or two of rest followed by 1 inning of relief work? He's obviously not going to be throwing 100 pitches but this pattern seems strange - the brief rest and then relief work. Just curious.

might be building up arm strength, better than throwing 4-5 innings and having 5 days off

Pretty good night for the Twins' organization.

I wish Parmelee could hit better in the ML.

I failed to point out that the HR by Chris Colabello was not just a regular HR. It was a 3-run walk-off HR with 2 outs in the 9th. Very dramatic!

I never realized how enormous Kennys Vargas was...

I know it sure is annoying. He is clearly to good for the minors, but not quite good enough for the bigs.
