I couldn't agree more, Viper. David and Jose should have been lifelong, Hall of Fame Mets but because of our Madoff-scandal owners, we are left to battle with only 1 of them and for the long foreseeable future. No matter the length or cost, Jose should have been retained. The Yankees NEVER let their own beloved homegrown play for another uniform. Reyes last three years 90 runs and 51 RBI, And for his career 82 runs and 49 RBI

So Reyes for the last three years has had 10 more Runs but 35 less RBI and for his career has averaged just 2 more runs while knocked in 37 less runs.

Now factor Reyes whole game is his oftenb injured legs and it is a no brainer which is why evceryone outside of the Fish and a few fans like you agree.
