because this team is in deep doo doo with the way our starting pitching is in shambles and starting off 0-3 when you are playing in such a tough american league and such a tough division is not good.

We are going to have to hit our way out of this slump until Pineda gets back and Pettitte gets here because our starting pitching right now is simply not good enough in my mind.

Are you surprised? I wonder what's happening on the Red Sox board. Melancon just gave up 3 runs in the 12th to blow their game.

Cause their not real fans. Real fans don't get worried after three games or anything. Thats why a season is 162, not 3.

Do you know MO has blown more saves in April than any other month? He's a slow starter. Relax and enjoy the 40 plus saves he'll put up this year.

They aren't acting like children. They are acting like trolls.

The first Yankee win, you'll never see most of the usernames that have been around for past three days during the games. There's a LOT of names I've never seen before, all of a sudden.

Trolls. whole stinking families of them.

They are just agitating. So pathetic. I guess most of them are indeed children.

Still, they will be panicking for real soon enough. The Yankees will get it together soon enough. But their teams probably won't.

Actually... it can't be that bad yet...

Nobody has lost any patients.

Patients are secure. I haven't even seen mention of a wafer either.

So we're fine. For now.

Despite the gloating of trolls...

Not sure if you caught some discussion on YES, but they were mentioning that though Mo pitches limited number of innings in ST, this year was a bit less than normal and he may be a few innings away from hitting is stride.

I dont think there needs to be panic. I do think there are signs that are troubling. I think the pitching will be ok although Nova didnt look good this spring but Pineda and Pettite will be ready in May so we are deep there. I know this offense has scored runs but it still relies too heavily on the homerun. I know people were concerned last year and Girardi kept saying runs are runs. But it came to light in the playoffs and I think again now against the Rays. Good pitching does not give up a ton of HR's and if this team doesnt get its HR's its offense is stagnant. I think that is a valid concern. I dont mind bringing Andruw Jones back but I hated the idea of Ibanez all year...couldnt we have gotten younger and more athletic in that spot?

Who am I censoring? I was stating a viewpoint as to what I am seeing in these threads that have been posted since the season started. I wasn't telling people to not whine and cry about 3 games. You, however, seem to want to censor me for my viewpoint.

Over all, I am a bit disappointed about the outcome of the games, but it is only 3 games and I know that there are a few slow starters on this team that include CC and Tex. this team is notoriously a second half team. And the "same old story" of the pitching? There was nothing wrong with Phil Hughes today other than the short outing. CC was CC and Kuroda got his introduction to AL ball. If you think that these three games are a preview of the entire season, then you might be watching the wrong games.
