i dont....i think if anything it is aimed at trading duda
ike davis will be the center cog in the next championship caliber team that we put on the field...he's not going anywhere...no where in our system is there a 1b as natural and promising as davis...in fact, i dont think there is a position player above single A that I think will be better
however, if you look through our system, we are loaded w/ guys that could play a corner of position and give you offensive output...i wouldnt mind seeing duda stay w/ the team but i think there is a much greater chance that he is moved than ike
i think, if they are going to extend wright, they should do it now while his value is at his lowest
i actually believe he would be willing to sign a contract that extends 4 seasons beyond 2012 at a total additional value of 50 mil
i'm not sure the organization is pumping him up as much as the media is....Alderson and Collins have praised his potential but no one has said he's a can't miss star
i hope they don't trade him....lets let him spend a full season with us before we trade him somewhere and watch him hit 30 hrs for another team
i actually agree
ive said all along offer wright an extension to cover 2013-2016 at a total of 50 mil guaranteed (2013-10 mil, 2014 - 10 mil, 2015-12 mil, 2016-13 mil - 2017 mutual option for 15 mil, 5 mil team buyout, becomes player option w/ certain milestones achieved)
im just saying that id RATHER see them keep ike than duda if i can only keep one
>> they are utterly with morals<<
I know, right!?
Do you think that the organization is pumping up Duda so they can trade wright / davis and still claim that they have someone worth watching in Duda?
They may trade Wright but not Davis. Why would they trade Davis he is a big part of the Mets offense.
