If he were even just hitting in the low 200's you could maybe say it was just a run of bad luck... but .063 is a batting average I've only seen out of one other player recently, Stewart.
I know Fowler does still have trade value though... if I were GM I'd be on the phone NOW looking to swap him for pitching.
No, I'd think he still has significant trade value. It's just spring and teams hurting for outfielders see a young fast player who ended last season with an acceptable totaled batting stat (although extremely streaky) who's cheap. They might have to parlay some cash or prospects, but I'd think he's still a good chip at this moment in time.
If they hold on and he does this a few weeks into the season... then you've got a problem.
