Understood, as I said, I don't believe East was referring to the behavior but more about a situation of being forced out. You can be forced out because of health, age, owner's opinion, behavior, whatever. I think that was his point. Vinny won't be forced out for any reason, God willing he will decide when its time to go, thus East's point, thats the way I saw it.

My point is Paterno stayed way past his time when reports were made known Paterno needed to retire because Penn State wanted a new coach. Vinny knows his time is short, and will leave on his terms NOT to be forced out by Dodger management.

I do think Penn State knew about the sexual predator scandal, and it seemed to me, used the same to force Paterno out. I am NOT suggesting anything of this kind of behavior on Vinny.

It seems to me Vinny is making preparations to leave broadcasting, sad that will be to many of us, however, everyone has there time in whatever one is doing, there is a time for everything, and one day Vinny will be gone from broadcasting.

Funny thing is, even after Vin retires, he will still probably come to the games(as a fan/guest)
