All season I've had 95-67 which was the highest pick—meaning anything 95 and over I win. All of a sudden on July 18 there's a Tdub2 with 96-66. Why the fix? Is someone really so scared I'm going to win that they have to sneak in a mid-season pick?

As the rules stated in the April 5 post by kovalwat: “Cut off date for predictions is the first pitch of the Pirates regular season game. We are now at 77, and the polls are closed. The tiebreaker is Pirate runs scored in the final game of the regular season.”

Count 'em. We now have 78 and an invalid entry at 96-66.
