I almost never watch live. I like to have the ability to fast forward to parts where prospects are pitching if I choose so watch away. At some point I'd like to test what happens if two people sign on at the same time anyway...I'm betting that nothing will happen.

Having a hard time finding info on Lawrie's contract. Best I could find was on MLBTR, suggesting that he will be arbitration eligible after the 2014 season. Does that seem right?

Google "Cotts Contracts"

All of your needs will be satisfied.

Straight up, I'd trade Lawrie for Justin Upton. Tough to come up with many more though.

If I wanted Justin Upton, I'd just move Lawrie to the outfield and enjoy the much cheaper salary.

Upton's salary is very reasonable. And in terms of what he brings offensively, he's already doing what we hope Lawrie will turn into at his peak.

Upton's already a 6 WAR player at 24 years old, with potential for even more, signed through 2015 at a very reasonable price.

You don't think Lawrie can be a 6 WAR player?

It wouldn't be an awful trade but we got the next big canadian superstar on our hands. I wouldn't really trade him for anybody straight up.

He can be. Upton already is, and as I said I don't think he's even hit his ceiling.
