One of my favourites was Cito not knowing Accardo's name the whole year.

He's probably trying hard... I can do that to though.

This was not what I wanted to see out of Cecil, but was it just me or did anyone else kinda get the feeling that Farrell sorta threw down the gauntlet a bit there in that article towards the rotation, AA, etc?

Maybe it;s just a couple bad spring starts, but it definitely came at the absolute wrong time, on the heels of the wrong year, the velocity drop don't help Cecil' cause none either.

Sorry for the confusion.

I just figured that after you rolled over on McGowan, there was really no point in taking you seriously or responding to any of your questions.

I don't think lots of people dislike Jenkins. I think a lot of it is people don't view him highly because of his low ceiling.

Actually, people probably didn't like him when he was fat, with the way Litsch was treated. So that might have changed opinions.

Why do you hate gibbers so much? Just wondering what I missed that happened.

The weird thing is I'm torn between wanting to see him be given a shot and wanting this team to start taking the next step toward being a contender.

And by that I mean at some point you got to earn the job and at some point trying to put the best team on the field, 7 days a week, needs to start to gain more emphasis.

Forgot about Litsch. I'd give him a shot rather than rushing the youngins.

Probably highly unlikely but why not give casey janssen another shot?

I doubt Stewart would be guaranteed a job in place of Cecil, just as many options like him that could be used. Rzep wouldn't replace him as he is a reliever.

"Shame that you're a coward."

Ha ha, yeah Gibby - I'm a coward.

Can you tell us again why extending McGowan was a good deal?

He was very up and down last year, it's not like he just got knocked around every time out. You act like any potential he ever had simply disintegrated.

And he was pitching well in spring training before his last two starts, since that seems to mean something to you.

"I'd rather just go with the guy who gives us the best chance to win that day. IMO there isn't an argument to be made that Cecil is that guy."

And why is Jenkins or Perez that guy? Spring training stats?
