True. I like the way you are seeing the season. People shouldn't overreact early.

But each games count. Give away games early in the season can really cost you.

The Milwaukee series was almost like a playoff atmosphere. But maybe it was just me. Really got into those games. Every game was a thriller and i didn't think the Dodgers lost the first two as much as Milwaukee won them. This was baseball at its best, even the controversial plays. The Dodgers looked like a team with with a will to win. Just hope this excitement continues until Nvember.

I figured I'd post the standings early on and update it from time to time while we all discuss the division moves and such throughout the year.

I agree. I remember years ago when the Dodgers lost the Division Championship to the Padres, even though their records were the same, I always remember a game in late May vs. the Pads where the Dodgers were up by 5 in the 9th, and Little let Lance Carter (i think it was him) lose the lead. The Dodgers lost the game in extra innings. A game like that, we often think, "Well, it's only May, so it's really not important", but that game would hav given us the Division.

But, at the same time, a manager has to let the team lose games in order for him to find out what he has in his players. It's a tough situation, either way.

Come july 31 if we are still in first or 2-4 games back Ned is gonna have to up grade at our catching position as well as first base. Maybe even a starting pitcher.

Ellis is not a good starter period.
Hes ok as a back up but over 100-120 games his stats are gonna end up looking some similar to .230 6 40 and thats just not gonna cut it.
And james i dont see him hitting .300 by july
