Another thing that would help would be a lower positional threshold. Ten games played and five games started is a pretty high benchmark for a league this deep. I would think 5 games played would be enough.

It's a mess the way they do it. They set a high in-season requirement but then feel free to just arbitrarily assign position eligibility in the off-season.

It's not arbitrary though. They go by the previous year. I don't think 5 GS is all that much.

Yes it is although you have the option as commish to opt out from Yahoo's defined positions and use a the hard and fast criteria instead for pre-season eligibility. In season is as we've discussed.
