Stick it up your rear end you whiner. I am getting sick and tired of listening to a bunch of whiners that complain about everything...you people have ruined this site with all your petty whining.
If you have a legitimate complaint I don't have any problem with that...I complain too...but I don't whine like you people.
"but we know not to expect any leadership or heart like that out of Mauer."
Because Mauer is quiet and reserved he has no heart and is not a leader...leaders come in all styles of player. But your an expert on that too I see.
You speak of my arrogance...when you whine about how poor a player is playing...your superiority knows no bounds, especially to think you can recognize a players faults without any support to back up your statements...THAT IS arrogance, especially when you don't have a clue.
My arrogance as you have stated isn't...what I have stated IS fact like it or not. Half of the posters on this site are just a bunch of whiners and complainers...and your one of them.
Don't let it bother you man. There is a lot of angst here right now.
Only thing is....can we at least have an honest discussion about this?? Mauer has hit 30 balls on the ground in play. That is absurd. Just five have made it through the infield. I know I seen it! I even looked it up and made a thread about. Is it too much to ask him to pull a fly ball or a line drive into the outfield? At this point I would settle for a routine fly to RF.

"can we at least have an honest discussion about this??"
YOU DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION
I love lamp...
I make one comment about Mauer and PC jumps down my throat. It's mighty testy in here.
Pitchers pitches or not, fact remains they were strikes. Swing the bat, put the ball in the air, and drive in Carroll. For a player of Mauer's caliber, it should be as easy as that. Sorry. I've seen lots of players far worse than Mauer succeed in that.
You just happened to get in the middle of it...because of a few others.
I don't mind complaining if the ball ends up down the middle and he lets it go...that frustrates me too. But the pitches he got in that AB were not that easy to make anything of. Was I disappoint he couldn't get Carroll in? Sure...but he wasn't given much to work with.
