Alex Kennedy ?@AlexKennedyNBASteve Nash meets with the Raptors this morning. Toronto is confident heading into the meeting. They believe they can sign the Canadian PG.
Eric Koreen ?@ekoreenAnd from what I've heard, the initial offer to Nash is 3 for 30-mil
"Lol... The Raps Owners will make the 30M back in the first year if he signs. "
HOw?
We're talking about Captain Canada here. Way more ticket sales.
Nash would also make about 5 million more here just from endorsements than anywhere else.

Arent the raps still close to sell out anyways?
"Not at all. Their midseason attendance is pretty bad. "
I am not oppose to bringing him here, just as long as people understand that he doesnt necessarily make them better by a lot. Yea, i guess there is money to be made
Nash would be the highest profile signing in Toronto sports history, this is a big deal.
I definitely think it'll make the Raptors much better. They have enough athleticism to run the system he's thrived in for the past decade with the Suns. And just think of the PR stuff this would generate.

ummm no. Roger Clemens was.
I'd probably actually watch the first few games of the season if Nash signed
Then I'd realized how my feelings towards basketball have soured
And then I'd stop watching
Marc Stein ?@ESPNSteinLine
Raps still meeting w/Steve Nash in NYC as we speak. Also: Told Raps already trying to trade Calderon so amnesty not needed on expiring deal
