Beyond fun with Bagels and Donuts, does any SSS members - old or new - have any Society business they wish discussed?

Well, since no one seems to have anything further to add, or any SSS business to discuss, it would appear peace is once again settling over the Stargell Star Society.

Yeah well don't get too comfortable....you never know when those rabid anti-absentiaists will rise up again and begin another quest to expel disadvantaged peer members for no good reason.....

Peace is back to ruling the Stargell Star Society, until such a time that any SSS member has anything worth discussing, or until we enshrine the winner of Bones' WS Poll.

I feel that induction of CBF should be put to a full vote of the SSS because the contest he won was tainted.

There were no regular updates so that members could verify his scoring methods.

Peace no longer rules the SSS.

I'm gonna set the bar on new posts on this thread for today at 60. I'm gonna take the over.

If you're that worried about it, I recommend you go back through the thread, gather up everyone's predictions, and verify it yourself.

Then again, that would require a lot of math on your part, which means we'd need someone to verify your results. You might be better off seeing if someone else will verify this for you. After all, the final score did go above 10.

How long will the vote for CBF last? It seems the only person against it is Kovie, and that's because CBF isn't Fringe/Mainstream/NBA. I thought Moose was trying to eliminate that in the SSS.

B-21. Bingo? If mcho were around I'm sure he'd vote against his induction too.

Nevertheless, as a standing member of the SSS, I have a right to request a vote of the SSS on this matter.

Just because scorp made a contest that was good, and too hard for you doesn't mean you should cry.

Kovie,

I suppose we will wait for the sleeping moose to wake.

Alvy,

It's really not a question of difficulty. You didn't do well and neither did I.

It was a tough contest. Win or lose we always play the game.

I think the updates are in question? I've taken some time to read through most of the thread. Scorp said he would update monthly. I was fine with that and still am. Once you put your prediction in play...you can't change.

I won't question Scorps integrity. He's on the up and up.

I've voted yes in another thread and will again in this thread.
