There were rumours to that in the past, but it doesn't look like there are any contacts to that effect by Peyton recently. That wouldn't be fair to Alex Smith, as he brought the 49ers to one game from the Super Bowl; however, that being said, Peyton would have probably brought them to the Super Bowl.

The only reason Denver made it as far as they did was due to their defense. They where exhausted by the end from carrying the team but it is a strength. Peyton has carried his teams, might like the idea of finally having a good defensive team supporting him.

But Miami needs a lot of help, too.

I would place a vegas bet that he lands in Denver. Peyton has never had a top defense and John Elway would give him the world and promise to bring in God as a linebacker to get out of the Tebow era without the fans burning his house down.
